Fav Film

This film is by far one of the best films I have watched. The films is fulled with actors that we havent seen before in our screens. The story is great and ever single song are just blowing away quality. If you didnt already know this film, well its called “Tum Bin”. I think it was released 2005 and still stuck on my mind. The film was effective on me, thats why it made me cry. First time in my life, crying over a film. I think teaches use guys how we should treat your ladys with any other things.

The film contains amzaing dialgoes. One of the favourite bits on film is when Shakar offers to stay to look after girl’s dead fiance’s father. The girl trys to be strong and gritty so she declines the offer “Tum jao, Shekhar. Jab sahare ki zaroorat hogi tab main maang loongi” (“You can leave, Shekhar. If I need your support, I will ask for it.”) Guy leaves.

Minutes later the guy comes back. Brings the girl a cup of tea and says “Jaanta hoon aapko sahare ki zarootat nahin hai. Main toh sirf saath dene aaya hoon” (“I know you don’t need support. I’m here only to give you company.”)

I just love this bit. The lines are so perfect and how it does into the song (Koi fariyaad). Just the whole thing comes together well. Koi fariyaad is one of favourite tracks out of the film. By the end of the film every one (Family & Friend) started to bet for who they think girls gonne go with (she had few guys running after her). This just shows how much we were into the film. Even my mum watched it and she started to cry but the fun thing is she doesnt undersand one word of hindi. I think for me its not just a film, it also brings back great memory.

I will post some videos later on.

Need to catch on some sleep (work tomoro, ahhhh!)

Seen any new films?

February 24, 2008 at 12:49 am (Uncategorized)

Just been under the weather today. I knew it was coming to me and now I feel the force of it. So looks like i am gone be home for the rest of the week. This doesn’t help me with all the coursework to be done because i feel even more lazy now.

To pass time I been checking out the latest films that are out. Watched 3 films in a row whilst on-line. First was the new Rambo, it was a wicked film and does not let you down with the violence. Next watched Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins. It dragged my eye because it star Mr. Lawrence, its emotional film with deep meaning.

Last but not the least “Be Kind Rewind”. A man (Black) whose brain becomes magnetized unintentionally destroys every tape in his friend’s video store. In order to satisfy the store’s most loyal renter, an aging woman with signs of dementia, the two men set out to remake the lost films, which include Back to the Future, The Lion King, and Robocop.

It a must watch film, i couldn’t stop laughing in any par of the film. It just a chill out film, with great story base supported by great actor.

If you need any of the link to watch the film (PM me)

Catch you in a bit

One of the nastey tackle I ever seen. The injury looks bad and people saying his career might be over. I heard the news over the radio and didnt think much of it. Just seen it few minutes ago, its not a nice picture. Sky sports refused to show the slow motion reply. You can see the picture below. Its not for the light hearted.

Classic hindi

February 21, 2008 at 9:28 pm (Uncategorized) (, )

Howdy,

Just trying to do my coursework for my signalling course. Every time i write few lines and fall alseep. Its so dam boring, I mean just give us the money, this stuff will never come into use in our life time. Just need a break from all this, so as always ended up logging into youtube. Start to search for some classic hindi tracks. I stopped watching hindi films about 3 years now. As they saying goes “Kids this days they dont make them like they used to”. Well it same for hindi films, there no boom about it any more. Well when i was younge, watching hindi films used to be a family thing. Nows a days you cant watch the film without forwarding every 5 min. Rangeela, Dhanwaan, Andaaz Apna Apna was just blast from the past.

Back to the coursework and early work hours. Just cant wait for the week to be over.
